The Finnish coach will take over from TOBIZ, whose year-long stint with the Norwegian organization has come to an end.

HEROIC have announced that they have named Joonas "doto" Forss the new head coach of their team after parting ways with Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo and analyst Mathias "R0nic" Pinholt.
doto is no stranger to HEROIC, having coached their academy team for over a year until the Norwegian organization pulled the plug on the project. It was the second coaching role for the 30-year-old, who had represented teams like HAVU and ENCE during his playing career before taking up coaching with ENCE Prospects.
TOBIZ joined HEROIC in June 2025 as a replacement for Eetu "sAw" Saha, who had moved to G2 alongside Álvaro "SunPayus" García. It was the Dane's first coaching job at the highest level, having previously worked only with MOUZ NXT.
During his HEROIC tenure, the team notably won DraculaN Season 5, finished second at the CCT Global Finals, and qualified for the IEM Cologne Major.
"My one-year journey has come to an end as HEROIC informed me yesterday that they want to go in a new direction," TOBIZ wrote on X.
"Taking some valuable lessons with me and looking forward to my next adventure."
Earlier on Monday, HLTV reported that HEROIC had set their sights on Gentle Mates' Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez to replace Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, who has been the team's makeshift AWPer since Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay was removed from the starting lineup due to visa issues.
Rumors have also surfaced in recent weeks that Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç is set to join FUT as Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea's future with the PGL Bucharest champions remains up in the air.
HEROIC are now:
Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç
Linus "nilo" Bergman
Tim "susp" Ångström
Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard
Simon "yxngstxr" Boije
Joonas "doto" Forss (coach)
Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay (benched)
