The tournament organizer will host three $40,000 LANs and a $50,000 LAN before the PGL Singapore Major VRS invite cut-off.
Andrey "MPKBK" Ermakov, who previously organized LanDaLan and CIS LANs, has partnered with WINLINE to host four LANs, with the last boasting an upgraded $50,000 prize pool and taking place a week before the VRS invite cut-off for the PGL Singapore Major, from October 20-23.
The tournament organizer also announced additional details for CIS LAN Season 6, which will take place in Moscow, Russia from July 27-30, feature 16 teams, a best-of-three GSL group stage, and a single-elimination playoff bracket culminating in a best-of-five grand final.
Registration for the $40,000 event is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, costs $3,000 per team, and opens July 7 at 22:00 .
MPKBK's tournaments, combined with other regional LANs, have played key roles in shaping the Major qualification races over the last year. PARIVISION earned a spot at the StarLadder Budapest Major after winning Majestic LanDaLan 3, while K27's Cologne Major hopes came crashing down at MPKBK CIS LAN Season 4.
The latest iteration of the event also saw Virtus.pro's revamped roster make its debut and clinch the organization's first trophy in three years, helping the team jump over 70 places in the VRS.
